Wista Antivirus Would be Funny if it Wasn't Serious : Antivirus

Best Registry Cleaner

I don’t know who the makers of Wista Antivirus are trying to kid.  Their gesture at system cloning is almost humorous.  They have a slick looking pop-up "warning screen;" you almost could be fooled into thinking it was the real thing.  But Wista?  That kind of throws the whole game off there.  That, and the fact that it can attack XP users as well as Vista users.

To be serious about it, Wista Antivirus is a rogue security tool that was released after the advent of the Windows Vista operating system.  Rogue security programs will typically be transmitted through infected downloads at corrupt websites, often disguised as video codecs.

By this method of attack, Wista Antivirus and its ilk hope to fool users into believing that either it’s a part of their computer’s software or that their software is some kind of Internet watchdog.  They just "happen" to see you surfing the ‘Net with a lot of malware baggage, and thought they’d come and be of service.  This doesn’t happen in the real world.

What actually happens is that when you click on an infected button, you get infected with a Trojan Downloader that gives you Wista Antivirus behind the scenes.  Then the "warning screen" pop-up appears, and the infection is fully underway.  I have to admit, this warning screen is better looking than a lot of them.

Wista Antivirus will always tell you that you’re infected.  Your infection will always be a massive one.  Three viruses can fairly cripple a computer.  Imagine what 40 or 50 thousand would do.  I’ll put it to you this way—this scan wouldn’t be running, and neither would much of anything else.  On the bright side, you will probably never see such a pervasive infection.

After this scare tactic is finished (and some of you have taken your heart medicine), Wista Antivirus will whisk you away to its home page, where you can buy the full version of its software.  Because, naturally, you have to buy the full version to get rid of your infection.  If you nearly had a heart attack or stroke over seeing 50 thousand viruses, you definitely will when you see this bill.  Especially if they decide that they want to take all of the money in your account.  Which they can do.

If you do buy Wista Antivirus, you should feel lucky that you only got their junk program for the asking price.  The "full version" is actually pretty worthless.  Their goal wasn’t ever to give you a viable antivirus program.  It was to take your money without giving anything back.  There is nothing salvageable in this whole scam.

Despite the seeming connection to viruses, Wista Antivirus is actually full of spyware.  Spyware that you will have to get rid of in order to regain the security and stability of your computer.  Not all antispyware programs are the same, so look for a 100% removal guarantee.
